Coated bullets

I recently started looking into coated bullets and keep hearing mixed opinions. Some folks say they cut down on barrel fouling and smoke, while others mention possible issues with leading or consistency. I haven't tried them myself yet, but I'm curious about real experiences, have you used coated bullets in your loads?

Yeah, I've tried em. They do cut down fouling and smoke, but consistency can vary depending on brand and load, so it is worth testing a few rounds before making it your go-to.
