I'm just starting out with muzzleloaders, and I'm torn between going old-school or trying out a modern breech-style. I'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences on this. What do you think?
You can start with a caplock, kinda like the T/C Hawken style. It has that classic vibe that's not just fun but also helps you grasp the basics. It's also sturdy enough that you won’t feel the urge to just toss it into a lake when things get frustrating.I'm just starting out with muzzleloaders, and I'm torn between going old-school or trying out a modern breech-style.
