Hi everyone, I'm just getting started and trying to wrap my head around what gear I actually need and how to shoot safely. I'm really excited to learn from y'all and share this journey together

Please, Sir...may I add one comment: some of the observations and recommendations posted in this (and any other) forum are based on personal preference, and may or may not be applicable to your situation. Nevertheless, your decision to log in was great, and I (we) welcome you! I've been a firearms teacher on and off since my Marine Corps days (Chief Range Instructor) in 1962, but old age has limited my ammunition burning for a few years. If I can be of any assistance, I shall look for your messages - but I do not visit the forum daily, so please be patient.
