Has anyone here spent time with the L.C. Smith .410 double barrel? I've read mixed takes compared to the larger gauges. Do they stand out mainly as collectible pieces, or are they still practical for hunting and clays?

When it comes to hunting, these guns are great for getting small game like squirrels or rabbits, especially at close range. They're also perfect for introducing newcomers to shotgun sports since they have less recoil, which makes learning a lot easier.

I’d think of it more like a specialty tool than just another shotgun for everything. If I were looking for something that could do it all, I’d probably grab a 20 or 12 gauge. But when it comes to something that’s classy, lightweight, and gives you a real sense of achievement for being precise and patient, the LC Smith .410 is tough to beat. It’s the kind of gun that encourages you to take your time and really soak in the whole experience.
