A new member in Brimfield

As a brand-new member, I received a request to post something here, so I shall bore you with my life in brief! Spent 8 years wearing a U. S. Marine Corp uniform an awfully long time ago ~ the first 2 years in the reserves, then 6 active duty. I was fortunate enough to serve in peacetime - after Korea and before Nam. Also, had good jobs: 2 years in Combat Intelligence + 2 years CID (Criminal Investigations Detachment) + 2 years Chief Instructor on the rifle range plus Team Captain of the station's Bullseye Competition Pistol Team.

I joined this forum this evening with the intent to eventually offer for sale a couple of handguns I no longer need. I certainly hope that this site is/will become a valuable means of communications for firearms owners and shooters within the Commonwealth. Heaven knows...we need all the help we can find!

I shall certainly do that, but please give me a few days to get organized. Lots of demands on my time, and old guys like me don't do anything fast! Also, I'm not at all aware of how to send a PM using this forum. I'm hoping that you and everyone else reading my weak epistles will forgive the lack of knowledge!
