Tiny 9mm guns might improve if they find a better way to handle recoil, like changing how the weight is spread out in the slide, instead of just shrinking the frame. There's only so much you can do with physics. So, maybe how comfortable it is to shoot it will become the main thing.
I think they’re about as big as they can get but there’s still some room to improve recoil control and reliability. The major changes have already happened, so now it’s mostly about fine-tuning.
