What’s your go-to carry revolver and why did you choose it? I’d love to hear insights from those who carry wheelguns on a daily basis about what truly performs well in everyday situations.

I've been carrying my Ruger LCR in .357 Magnum for about 3years now, and it’s my go-to for everyday carry. I know some think revolvers are old-school or that I’m limiting myself with just 5rds, but let me explain why this setup has been so much better for me than any semi-auto I’ve tried. I switched to the LCR after getting fed up with my Glock 43 and its annoying tendency to jam with certain defensive ammo. I found myself more anxious about whether my gun would actually work than feeling confident while carrying it. The moment I picked up the LCR, it just felt right. The smooth double-action trigger, the grip that’s a bit bigger than a J-frame, and the peace of mind knowing it’s going to fire every single time I pull the trigger. It made all the difference for me.

If I had to pick a favorite, it would definitely be the S&W 642. It’s this super lightweight, hammerless .38 Special that I can hide away easily and grab in a flash when I need it. I really love it because it hits that sweet spot between being simple to use, totally reliable, and just comfortable to carry.
